At the time of the first launch of Honda Goldwing, it was among the first bikes on the world to offer water cooling, fuel pumps, and shaft drives. Even Honda Goldwing is the first bike that had the transmission system which was placed underneath its engine rather than behind which was more of the same used in manufacturing cars. Today however, its new features like weather tracking systems, satellite radio, and a whole bunch of advanced features makes it able to put any standard car to shame.

The revolutionary changes made in Honda Goldwing with the launch of its 2001 version and it would turn out to be the most advanced and luxurious bike that Honda has ever produced. The most markable change was its engine that has already mammoth displacement of 1500cc and it was increased to 1800cc along with fuel injection.
