Taj Mahal: Was it a Vedic Temple? The Photographic Evidence

Taj Mahal: Was it a Vedic Temple?
The Photographic Evidence

A Presentation Assembled by Stephen Knapp, Available at www.stephen-knapp.com
This presents photographs (listed below in two collections) and articles that show the Vedic influence found in such buildings as the Taj Mahal, Red Fort, and other structures in India. It also presents photos of drawings and art that have been discovered from other parts of the world, such as Arabia, Egypt, Greece and Italy, that show a definite Vedic influence. No matter whether you accept all of this or not, it nonetheless makes for an extremely fascinating and interesting story. Take a look and decide for yourself what you think. Also, let other people know about these, or download them to print and use them for your own displays in your temple, office or home. The articles listed below are practically more important than the photographs that are supplied. So be sure to read them.

We have all heard how the Taj Mahal, which is considered one of the great wonders of the world, was built as the preeminent expression of a man's love for a wife. That it was built by emperor Shah Jahan in commemoration of his wife Mumtaz. However, in our continuous effort to get to the truth, we have acquired some very important documents and information. There is evidence that the Taj Mahal was never built by Shah Jahan. Some say the Taj Mahal pre-dates Shah Jahan by several centuries and was originally built as a Hindu or Vedic temple/palace complex. Shah Jahan merely acquired it from its previous owner, the Hindu King Jai Singh.

This controversy is something I have explained more thoroughly in my book, "Proof of Vedic Culture's Global Existence." So, for those who want to know the details of this issue, you can find it there. And here is the photographic evidence that will provide greater insights into this. The point to consider is how much more of India's history has been distorted if the background of such a grand building is so inaccurate.

PHOTOGRAPHS: COLLECTION ONE

These photographs listed below are taken from an album that was found in India. On the back of each photo there is a stamp mark that says, "Copyright Archaeology Survey of India." This signifies that they may have been the property of that institution, or that they had researched the evidence that shows the Taj Mahal and many other buildings were not of Muslim origin. Thus, it would be good if they could open up further research into areas of the Taj Mahal that would reveal the true nature and originality of the buildings, and lead to understanding another part of the real history and glory of India.

These photos are black and white and were found in a simple photo album in India. Except for old age and some water damage on some of them (creating white spots in areas), most are still in relatively good condition. Each photograph was accompanied by a typed caption taped in the album under or near the photo, each of which gives a very interesting explanation of the subject and the Vedic influence recognized on the building and what it means. The captions accompany the photos on the following pages just as they were written in the album, so the style of English and the explanations are kept the same. I did not write them myself. They are obviously written from an Indian perspective. Whatever I may say about the photos are displayed in brackets [ ]. Otherwise I let the captions and photos speak for themselves. Some of these photos will show areas of the Taj where the public presently has no access, or what is rarely seen or noticed today.

It is because of the manipulation of history by invaders that the true greatness of India and Vedic culture has been stifled or hidden. And it is time that people everywhere realize how numerous lies and false propaganda have been passed around as if it were the truth in regard to India and its past, as well as its art, archeology, and the wonder of its culture. India and its Vedic society was one of the preeminent civilizations of the world, as I explained in "Proof of Vedic Culture's Global Existence." Now, through the increasing amount of revealing evidence that is being uncovered, that greatness of India's past and its contributions to the world are gradually being recognized. It is because of this that it is now time to rewrite the history of India.

PHOTOGRAPHS: COLLECTION TWO

These photos (scroll down to find the list) provide a deeper view and a tour into the secrets of the Taj Mahal. Using color photos, along with blueprints of the Taj Mahal to look at further proofs of the real purpose and function of the Taj Mahal. I thank Mr. V. S. Godbole for allowing me to use these photos to present them in a way so that everyone can see them through the internet.

ADDITIONAL ONLINE ARTICLES

"The Question of the Taj Mahal" (Itihas Patrika, vol 5, pp. 98-111, 1985) by P. S. Bhat and A. L. Athavale is a profound and thoroughly researched and well balanced paper on the Taj Mahal controversy. This paper goes well with the photographs listed below. It uncovers the reasons for the rumors and assumptions of why it is said that Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal, and presents all the inconsistencies of why that theory doesn't hold up. It also covers such things as the descriptions found in the old Agra court papers on the Taj; descriptions and measurements of the building in the old records; Aurangzeb's letter of the much needed repairs even in 1632 which is unlikely for a new building; records that reveal Shah Jahan acquired marble but was it enough for really building the Taj or merely for inlay work and decorative coverings; the observations of European travelers at the time; the actual age of the Taj; how the architecture is definitely of Indian Hindu orientation and could very well have been designed as a Shiva temple; the issue of the arch and the dome; how the invader Timurlung (1398) took back thousands of prisoner craftsmen to build his capital at Samarkhand and where the dome could have been incorporated into Islamic architecture; how it was not Shah Jahan's religious tolerance that could have been a reason for Hindu elements in the design of the Taj; how the direction of the mosque does not point toward Mecca as most mosques do; the real purpose of the minarets at the Taj; the Hindu symbolism recognized in the Taj which would not have been allowed if it was truly Muslim built; and even as late as 1910 the Encyclopaedia Britannica included the statement by Fergusson that the building was previously a palace before becoming a tomb for Shah Jahan; and more. A most interesting paper.
"An Architect Looks at the Taj Mahal Legend" by Marvin Mills, is a great review of the information available on the Taj Mahal and raises some very interesting questions that make it obvious that the Taj could not have been built the way or during the time that history presents, which makes it more like a fable than accurate history. This suggests a construction date of 1359 AD, about 300 years before Shah Jahan.
The True Story of the Taj Mahal. This article by P. N. Oak (from Pune, India) provides an overview of his research and lists his 109 proofs of how the Taj Mahal was a pre-existing Hindu temple palace, built not by Shah Jahan but originally at least 500 years earlier in 1155 AD by Raja Paramardi Dev as a Vedic temple. Mr. P. N. Oak is another who has done much research into this topic, and such a study is hardly complete without considering his findings. The evidence he presents here is a most interesting read, whether you agree with it all or not, or care for some of the anger in his sentiment. Mr. Oak has presented his own conclusions in his books, most notably Taj Mahal--The True Story (ISBN: 0-9611614-4-2).
The Letter of Aurangzeb ordering repairs on the old Taj Mahal in the year just before it is said to have been completed.
The Badshahnama is the history written by the Emperor's own chronicler. This page shows how Aurangzeb had acquired the Taj from the previous owner, Jai Singh, grandson of Raja Mansingh, after selecting this site for the burial of Queen Mumtaz.
Taj Mahal -- Time to Tell the Truth, an analysis by Dr. V. S. Godbole that shows how the Taj Mahal was not built by ShahJahan but was the Palace of Raja Mansingh.
The Distorted History of the Taj Mahal, by Dr. Dr Radhasyam Brahmachari shows how pervasive the false history of the Taj Mahal is and how it developed, but how it should be corrected.

MEDITATE SHIV YOG RESULTS IN BIGGER BRAIN

Meditate your way to a bigger brain
New York (IANS): Push-ups, crunches and gyms are fine for building bigger muscles and stronger bones. But can you meditate your way to a bigger brain?

The answer is yes, as a new study has established that certain regions in the brains of those meditating long-term were larger than in a similar group.

A group of researchers at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), used high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to scan the brains of people who meditate.

Specifically, such people showed significantly larger volumes of the hippocampus and areas within the orbito-frontal cortex, the thalamus and the inferior temporal gyrus-regions known for regulating emotions.

"We know that people who consistently meditate have a singular ability to cultivate positive emotions, retain emotional stability and engage in mindful behaviour," said Eileen Luders, study co-author and postdoctoral fellow at the UCLA Lab of Neuro Imaging.

Luders and colleagues examined 44 people, 22 control subjects and 22 who had practised Zazen, Samatha and Vipassana meditation, among others. They had devoted an average of 24 years to the practice.

More than half of all the people who meditate said that deep concentration was an essential part of their practice, and most meditated between 10 and 90 minutes daily, said an UCLA release.

The researchers used a high-resolution, three-dimensional form of MRI and two different approaches to measure differences in brain structure.

These findings were published in NeuroImage.

The gate to fourth dimension opens

ASCENSION or DOOMSDAY?

Your Choice…

Q. Every religion is talking about the 'doomsday' and in our religion also
'Mahapralaya in Kalyuga' is mentioned. And the year 2012 is considered to be the
doomsday – the day of judgement. Please elaborate on this.

December 21st in the year 2012 is the Ascension Day for the evolved human beings. It can be the doomsday for those who have not followed the path of truth.

Actually every human being has an individual consciousness. Planet earth also has its own consciousness which is very clear and pure. That's why the whole Galaxy and the planet earth are ascending. Year 2012 is the transition period for planet earth when it will enter in the fourth dimension from the present position in the third dimension. Planetearth has been continuously ascending since late 1980's and its vibrational frequency has been increasing ever since. In early 1990's, it was vibrating at the frequency of 7 hertz resonance. By December 2012, it shall vibrate at the frequency of 16.8 hertz resonance. That means the vibrational frequency of Earth will become double. More vibrational frequency indicates more purity and the energy, i.e. earth heading towards higher dimension. So, this is the period when the our planet is going to ascend into the fourth dimension, becoming more pure, divine and full of love energy.

Now the question is what will happen to the human beings who are living in the third dimension? People are talking about saving planet earth, but it is not correct. It is because of our ego that we talk like this. Planet earth has its own consciousness and is already ascending to higher dimension. We should rather be talking about saving ourselves, about saving fellow human beings. All individuals have different consciousness levels and are still vibrating at much lower frequencies. More than 2/3 of our population is vibrating at below average frequency level. That's the reason in every such human being only 3.5%
DNA is active and rest of 96.5% DNA is totally inactive, indicating the ignorance level, spirituality level and the level of truth within us. Baba Gorakshnath, Buddha, Christ and all holy Siddhas had 100% active DNA and had a much higher vibrational frequency. That's why they were much more evolved beings.

The low DNA activation influences thinking of mankind, making them think negatively thus generating negative energy. Collective generation of negative energy will take mankind towards disaster. As on today 2/3 rd of the population has to be saved from the destructive negative energy field of ego, greed, hatred, resentment, holding on to herd mentality and trying to create herd of people which can be dominated by individuals and so on.

The grace of the evolved beings can activate your DNA and erase your past accumulated karmas. Then you rise above all these negative qualities, your vibrational energy gets enhanced and the DNA activation starts. That's why it is said that it cannot happen on its own. Divine light is needed to initiate this process and at every stage of growth and activation.

Therefore, if we also consciously make efforts to raise our energy levels and move
towards higher spirituality, then we too can easily ascend to 4th dimension along with planet earth. But it can be the doomsday for those who are not growing spiritually.

Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Zoroastrianism and Islam, all religions say that the doomsday is the day of Judgment for all those who are unfaithful to the Divinity. But in the Siddha philosophy it is mentioned, as I said earlier, that on this Day of Judgment those who follow the divine path will be saved by Shiva (Infinite) himself. This means that those who are on the path of purity will ascend to the fourth dimension during their living time, and from the year 2012 to 2028 all these living human beings will be totally submerged in the fourth dimension experiencing the higher level of spirituality powered with unconditional love, bliss and happiness. And those who are still vibrating at lower frequency level of third dimension in 2012, when the earth is entering into higher dimension are likely to perish in the natural and manmade calamities. And when theyare reborn, they will not come on this planet where we are living. Instead they will go down to another planet which is vibrating at the lowest 3rd dimensional energy and they are likely to face the ‘Ghor Kaliyuga’ with more suffering, sorrow, pain, disease and 'alp aayu'as mentioned in the scriptures.

So let's take the period from now up to the year 2012 as anopportunity to collectively work towards our ascension and also help all our near and dear ones to achieve the same. If we work collectively, we can take the whole humanity towards happiness, towards unconditional love and towards self realisation. Let's be one divine ray of light of holy Siddhas and let us work for the divinity. Due to ignorance we might have worked for the Devil and might have been instrumental in making many people drift from the right path. But it's never too late. Let us illuminate our lives and work to illuminate the lives of others.

The James Bond Encyclopaedia: Know the Secrets of Secret Agent 007

The James Bond Encyclopaedia: Know the Secrets of Secret Agent 007

The Creator:
James Bond is a gift from Ian Fleming. In real life, Ian Fleming was a Lieutenant Commander in Naval Intelligence Division at the time of World War II and had done some wonderful operations against Germany.

Since Fleming's death, the James Bond tradition has been carried on by John Gardener

The Character of James Bond:

The Origin of the Name James Bond:
"I wanted the simplest, dullest, plainest-sounding name I could think of. James Bond seemed perfect." -Ian Fleming

While he may be the world's most famous, glamorous secret agent, let's face it, his name is pretty dull. In a way it is fitting, Fleming achieved exactly what he wanted to with the name. He actually found it sitting on his bookshelf in the author of a book entitled "Bird's Of The West Indies." And like that, history was made!

The Qualities of James Bond:
James Bond possesses many other qualities besides his quality as a spy.
  • There is no gem he can't name (Diamonds Are Forever)
  • No language he can't speak, "You forget Moneypenny, I took a first in oriental languages at Cambridge." (You Only Live Twice)
  • No wine he can't identify (virtually every movie).
  • He is an expert at all sports- Skiing, swimming, sky diving, equestrian.
  • He drives a car better then any race driver, flies any plane.
  • And of course, he's a gun master. There is no gun he hasn't used.
  • He always wins at the casino.
  • Women find him irresistible and . . .
Bond's Favorite Possessions/Passions:
  • Gun: Walter PPK (light hand gun), Baretta .25 (Bigger, more powerful gun)
  • Knife: Sykes Fairborn Commando
  • Car: BMW. There was a controversy as to why British agent James Bond should use German BMW in his all the missions (the cars that Mr. Q builds for JB are actually all BMW models)
  • Drink: Vodka Martini, "Shaken but not stirred".

The Organization of MI6 (Military Intelligence 6, the organization James Bond belongs to):

Mr. M:
Code name of Admiral Sir Miles Messerby. The head of MI6, M gives Bond his assignments and is the only person 007 answers to.

Mr. Q:
Code name of Major Boothroy. One of the most beloved characters of the series, Q is the man who gives Bond all his wonderful gadgets. One interesting fact about Q is that it was played by Desmond Llewelyn in all the James Bond movies for almost 35 years since the beginning. Die Another Day is the only movie in which Q has changed. On December 19, 1999, Desmond was killed in a head on car crash. He was 85 years old.

Moneypenny:
Mr. M's secretary. Moneypenny is always there to welcome Bond home from his adventures in far off places. And 007 enjoys to flirt with her.

Louella Ponsenby:
Bond's secretary.

Mr. Liter:
Bond's CIA contact.

Agent Codes:
All the members of MI6 are given a three digit code.

The first digit indicates his department.
0: Foreign Espionage (In enemy countries, generally attacking, the most important)
1: Inland services (Save UK from the spies of enemy countries, generally defensive)
2: Co-ordination (Co-ordination with other NATO/Friendly agencies, like CIA (USA), Mossad (Israel) etc.)
3: Personnel and Accounts. (The internal administration of MI6)

The second digit indicates the level of seniority from 0 to 9 with 0 as the senior most.

The third digit is the agent's code.

So, the agent code 007 means a senior agent in Foreign Espionage department and 115 means a junior agent in Inland Services department.

All the agents with the same leading two digits share the same rank (e.g. 005, 007, 008 share the same rank, in some movies James Bond also says that if he would be killed, 005/006/008 would replace him.)
